Day Seventeen: June 21st 2015
posted on junio 21, 2015 11:31
Tents and the kitchen are packed away at dawn and the campsite scoured and cleaned leaving virtually no trace of our presence. Local vehicles arrive at camp at 0900 to help transfer the team to the second study site via the town of Apolo where more supplies are purchased. Our second camp is two and a half hours north of Apolo on the road to Asariamas and the Tuichi River, near the communities of Sipia and Suyo Suyo. The team arrives at 1800 after a long day and set tents quickly before dusk.
